Employees use the web to research potential empoloyers but seem to forget that employers do exactly the same thing to them. Having a cute email address (buffbod@hotmail.com) or using a blog to rant about how multinationals are exploiting workers when you're going for a job at a big corporate is sabotaging your efforts straight up. Doesn't mean you can't do these things just be smart about it and have an email address for job hunting and one to use with your friends.
